SYLLABUS & QUESTION PAPER PATTERN
The Question paper will have 5 parts with the following topics:
i To evaluate the candidate’s ability to pick out critically the data and apply the data to business decisions from given typical business situations.
ii To evaluate the skill of the candidate in answering questions based on the passages in the comprehension.
iii To evaluate the skill on solving mathematical problems at graduate level including those learnt in plus two or equivalent level.
iv To test on determining data sufficiency for answering certain questions using the given data and the knowledge of Mathematics and use of day – to – day facts.
v To test the knowledge on written English with questions on errors in usage, grammar, punctuation and the like.
The question paper will have 100 objective type questions and the candidates have to answer all the questions in 2 hours. Each question will have five alternative answers. The candidates have to choose the correct answer and shade the appropriate small open box against each question in the answer sheet with a pencil/ ballpoint pen (black or blue).
EVALUATION SCHEME
The evaluation pattern is that 1 mark will be awarded for each correct answer and 1/5 mark will be deducted for every wrong answer. No deduction will be made for unanswered questions. Multiple shadings will be considered as wrong answer and 1/5 mark will be deducted
