After conducting its first Off -Campus last August 2009,Nokia Siemens Networks or NSN as it is called is back again to hire more GETs (Graduate Engineer Trainees) this year.
But this time, it also hires 2010 pass outs and also Post Graduates M.E/M.Tech

UPDATE(7th April,2010 ): NSN has started calling people based on their test results zonewise starting from north India it seems,keep track of your zone ppl to know if that particular zone people have been called. This was the pattern even last time of hiring

I appeared in NSN GET 2010 exam from Asansol center . I got an SMS from NSN on 7th April 2010 which was exactly as following : “You have been shortlisted to attend the NSN GET 2010 panel Interview, please check your personal email account in next 24 hours for further details.” But since then at least 48 hours have passed but I haven’t got any mail from them . Have anyone from kolkata got any kind of information regarding Interview.

Today I gave my interview at Pune and I cleared the technical and 1st hr round. BUt after the second hr round I was told that my application is on HOLD and that if I get selected I would be sent a mail and if no mail comes consider it negative.
I was expecting the offer since my technical round was pretty descent and both hr rounds were good.
I dont understand what is this thing called HOLD

There is a technical interview where they will ask you on GSM architecture, how a call is initiated, fading , transmission media (coaxial, twisted pair,optic fibre). They may ask you ques you havent heard of, so jus say NO if you dont know.
Second round HR, simple ques and just to look at your confidence (weakness,strengths, where do you see yourself after 5 years and stuff)
Third round HR round conduct huaa and its was again similar to 2nd round.
I dont know how many people got selected since they were isolated from the rest.
But this time round they re giving letter of indent and offer letters will be sent by mail.
Unfortunately for me they said I am on HOLD (which I presume means REJECTED) since this had happened earlier with candidates in 2009 recruitment.

After 5 pm I was said that they have sent my name to their bangalore center . If they consider me good enough they will mail me within next 7 or 8 days. I am from chennai region,After my technical interview they said to me that i am externally selected and they will call me in one or two days… what does this mean.. Can any one guide me
First of all congrats, yogesh! If they had mentioned the word ‘externally’ means, that you’ll work for NSN but on an external payroll.which means you wont be in the payroll of NSN but some others will pay your salary..You’ll be gradually taken into onroll of NSN at later stage after some experience I guess!

I got selected.
I gave my interview in bhubaneswar. Interview was of 2 rounds. technical and HR. Tech was on GSM arch, waveguides, antenna. HR was quite normal. just be confident and when u dont know a thing jst say no. They jst look for confident guys. Thats all u have to be confident and clear cut concept of ur subjects.

they just ask the basics from wireless comm. communications and projects u have undergone through the academics….
nothing else ….
be confident….don’t be nervous….
give answers comfortably and you will be selected…..

hi..I had attended nsn panel interview on 21st april. I had cleared 1st round n 2nd was also pretty good. But they just told us to leave after that. It means tat am not selected or wat??
after completion of my both the rounds in the interview, i was told that nsn will inform my results through mail.
my interview was on 20april.

Not exactly..you’ll be treated as NSN employee..only the pay will be paid by the other company…Any hike in pay announced by NSN wont be applied to you..By the way what was the CTC they offered to you?
ok. then No information regarding that… I attended only the technical round. didnt attend the Hr round. After my technical round was over I was said that I am externally selected ,and will recieve a call in 2-3 days from nsn and was asked to leave.
ok…I asked about your CTC as usually external employees get lesser pay than onroll employees of NSN…Anyway,all the best

anyone who has been selected in nsn was given an offer letter instantly.
i received one 4m Bhubaneswar region.
U havnt got any letter doesnt mean eactly dat u r nt selected.
last year my fren appeared the interview in the month of october. She was also told exactly d way u r. She got d joining on 22nd february and was informed about d same in d same month.
So, never loose hope. Hopefully sooner or later u ll receive one.
Hope 2 meet u in d training.
Few of my frens are working wid nsn. So, any query about it, feel free 2 ask i ll do d little help i can.

hello ,
i attended the interview on 16th april at pune..i had my technical round and people outside told me to leave after i finished my technical round..but the interviewer inside told me to wait me for HR round and i gave my technical round good..so i am not clear whether i was eliminated in the technical round or not..i just came out after finishing my technical round..and did they eliminate me as im still in final year btech..???

so i was put on hold.but till date i’ve never received any email/sms/call from d hr person.
